Testimonials:

"Helen is diligent, dedicated and makes running an arbitration process a breeze, and I know Judges of the High Court that speak highly of her too.  We need more Helens.  I am so glad that I now decided to book her for my arbitration at the very outset.   She’s worth ten times what she charges, and we lawyers often take her for granted.  FIVE THUMBS UP!"  (Julian Long, Barrister, Auckland, NZ - 2015

"I have worked with both Helen Hoffman and Jacqui Kennedy in my capacity as Aribrator and also as counsel.  They provide a first-rate service, fast, efficient and accurate."  (Tom Weston QC, NZ) - 2015

"The service was excellent and the luxury of getting transcripts at least a couple of hours ahead of when we would get them if were in the High Court made the nights worked during the arbitration less late than they would have been had we been in the High Court."  (Mike Lenihan, Barrister, NZ) - 2015

"The system worked seamlessly and the service was friendly.  I would certainly recommend Real-Time Transcripts' services to others."  (David Chisholm, Barrister, NZ) - 2014

American Depositions

I cannot recommend Helen highly enough for American depositions in New Zealand or Australia.  She served as our court reporter for three weeks of depositions in New Zealand.  Helen was a consummate professional.  We received rough transcripts every night after the deposition, sometimes less than an hour after the deposition concluded, and there was no loss of accuracy in exchange for the prompt turn-around.  Her rough transcripts were amazingly accurate and the finals were great too.  Just as important, Helen was a pleasure to have in the deposition room, and her friendly attitude helped make a long three weeks of depositions seem less long and tedious.  If Helen worked in the US, I would use her for depositions regularly.   (Geoff D. Biegler, Principal, Fish & Richardson, San Diego, CA) - January 2017.

Stenocaptioning

“Helen was recommended to provide live captioning services for a three day seminar.  She delivered the most accurate, quick and professional live captioning service that I have ever encountered.   Her  exceptional skill added to the quality of the event for all attendees, not only those that relied on her captioning for access to the discussions.  Added to that, she was very accommodating when revisions were made to the programme.  Helen was both an asset and an integral part of our meeting.  The transcripts she supplied are an invaluable and accurate record of our seminar.   Helen gets 10/10+ and huge thanks from me”.  (Dr Louise Collingridge, Independent Audiologists Australia).

"It has been our pleasure to have Mrs. Hoffman provide real-time captioning of the Board and Council meetings for The National Foundation for the Deaf enabling access for all who are hearing and hard-of-hearing.

Recently Helen real-time captioned a series of meetings with participants attending from 16 African and Asian countries.  The topic of the intial meeting was The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).  Many of the participants had English as a second language, were hard-of-hearing or deaf and the subject matter being spoken about was quasi-legal and complex.  But, at no stage was Mrs. Hoffman out of her depth despite the complexity of the topic and the wide ranging communication capabilities of the participants.

In all of her captioning work her level of accuracy is well into the 98-99% range and I consider it to be superior to the captioning work I have seen at the Committee on the CRPD meetings at the United Nations in Geneva.  Also, Mrs. Hoffman has always been a positive person to work with, who is willing to assist if technology concerns arise or in any way where she can see she may be able to add value."  (Dr Louise Carroll, CEO The National Foundation for the Deaf) - 2016.
