Helen Hoffman

Helen Hoffman, Director/Stenographer, is based in Wellington and has over 25 years experience as a stenographer. Helen began her career in the District Court at Wellington in 1989 and since 1993 she has worked for:

  • various disciplinary bodies;
  • arbitrations;
  • Courts in New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Fiji and Tonga;
  • Live stenocaptioning for the hearing impaired;
  • Commissions of Inquiries, including the Commission of Inquiry into Cave Creek (1995) and the Commission of Inquiry into Police Conduct (2004);
  • Disciplinary hearings for the Rugby World Cup 2011;
  • American depositions in NZ, Korea and Hong Kong;
  • an APEC Conference in Shanghai;
  • Court Martials and Court of Inquiries for the NZ Army, Navy and Airforce;
  • Huis in NZ, The Chatham Islands and Great Barrier Island;  
  • and numerous other assignments. 

Jacqui Kennedy

Jacqui KennedyJacqui Kennedy lives in Wellington and has been a stenographer for the past 18 years. She has worked for various Courts in NZ, disciplinary tribunals, arbitrations and committees.  Jacqui has experience doing American depositions and has worked in Courts in Asia and the Pacific Islands.
